The item I received had the lack of pressure holding problem. I’d pump it up and the spray would only last a few seconds. Turns out the stub where the part is broken off the injection runner is normally a clean surface break. But in my case the runner broke deep enough to create an unnecessary hole in the pressurizing tube. This is a manufacturing defect. I drilled out the hole a bit and super glued in a small screw. I made the hole larger with a drill bit so the screw wouldn’t split the plastic. And a screw would hold the pressure better than trying to fill the tiny hole with a glue. When done I coated the screw and surrounding area with a flexible silicone glue/sealer. My sprayer now works good.

This sprayer works great, much better than the replacement. Can only say I must have been the lucky one to get one that missed quality control.

I use it with soapy water for changing truck tires and checking for leaks. Works perfect. Much more capacity and less work than trigger style spray bottles

I purchased this piece of crap for my 74 yo wife to spot spray in her gardens. It was used one time. A month later I filled it for her and it wouldn't spray. The clip that connects the spray linkage to the handle was broken. It is dead. RIP. Why the hell they didn't use something made of metal for this critical 1 cent item? Why don't they make a repair kit for it? Why not throw a couple spares in the box? Made in USA? I really doubt it. Thanks Chapin for selling me a total piece of crap. Thank you for your nonexisting Support. But WAIT!!!. I did find a use for it. I walked out my back porch to see my neighbor dog in my garbage can. I was scouting for a rock when I spotted my half full Chapin USA made ( with parts from global suppliers) sprayer sitting there. Why not put it to use. I bounced it off the mutts shoulder and he hasn't been back in over two weeks.. Thank you Chapin for making such a robust unit. I anticipate getting a lot of use out this sprayer. Dogs, cats, raccoons, skunks etc.

Used for soap and oil mixtures.Everything has kept tight and pressurized.Easy to use, good 6 cup capacity, nice even spraying.Light weight and hasnt broken in the two months of using it many times.Pretty good!

I like to have separate sprayers for weed killers, insecticides, or garden fertilizers. I use this one for my smaller volumes of insecticides as it will hold about 1 1/2 quarts. The pump is pretty substantial and easy to use with gloves. There are two dings in my opinion. Firstly, I wish there was a way to prevent accidental spraying, perhaps a sliding gizmo to prevent the trigger squeeze. Secondly, a pressure relief value because I do not like to store pump sprayers under pressure.
