My son is terrible about controller batteries. He's 8 and his primary concern is that the controller hes using is powered. Not plugging in the old controllers or even swapping out the batteries for working ones. He'll typically just grab a controller and hope that it turns on. I got this in hopes that we can fix all that and he'll understand that the quickest thing to do is to swap the battery. So how is this working out??So far its working out great. I like that this is usb powered so you can plug it in directly to the xbox, which I prefer just so the batteries are close by.One nice addition that most other devices like this seem to exclude is a power switch. Not sure why it gets overlooked but they didnt overlook it here. Having 4 batteries constantly plugged in and charging isnt safe or even necessary. So, having the power switch helps with that. It does create the risk with my son to drain every battery without recharging but at least he'll have 4 batteries to drain before that happens.I cant say for sure how long the batteries do last. My son had a friend over on Saturday and the two of them played for over two hours and the batteries were holding up well and as one might expect.Lights look cool, everything seems to have LED these days so although I appreciate it I dont need it, my computer room is starting to look like a 24/7 rave.Overall we're very, very happy with this. The 2 battery kits Ive gotten in the past we're handy but having 4 is that much more convenient, especially for the cost. Also, since these dont have a proprietary shape to them, you can use the official Xbox backing and not have to swap them out for custom backs often provided with devices like this.

These batteries have an excellent battery life they hold up much longer than regular rechargeable batteries I play games about 3 hours a day every day and batteries last about a week and a half on a single charge It's great to just swap out one battery and insert the next and you're ready to go. They charge up quickly, definitely better than buying batteries or rechargeable AA batteries 100% recommend.

Super simple plug in and charge, and I've been using just one battery pack for a week and haven't even gotten to 50% yet. Great battery life and easy to use! Value is amazing as well!

It is small enough to put anywhere. It doesn't take up any space and it charges fast.

Just what I needed. Love the set up. They do fit pretty tightly in the controlled but once I got the hang of it it's not bad. They work very well, hold a good charge. Love that it comes with 4 so I can swap them out easily.
