I have a lot of tools for cooking. When I was in Italy last month I purchased Parmegano cheese from the place it is made in Parma. I saw on some other advertising this type grater which holds the chase above so you can see how much AND is the perfect size of grate for hard cheese. Not big like on a box grater or powder like you get in the store. This makes the most of your precious cheese and I have used it on several other hard cheeses as well. Very sharp. Its easy to use.
