In a side by side comparison with Kitchendao cheese slicer, there are many similarities but in the end, slices on this cheese slicer stuck onto the cutting blade. This meant that another movement was necessary to remove the cheese slice from the blade. We returned this item and kept the other. Our purchase was for use as a cheese slicer and we did not attempt to slice anything else.
