Once you get the handle of applying the right amount of pressure as you slide the plane along the top of the cheese, you will be hooked! We had to purchase this as our Norwegian cheeses were getting slaughtered on our charcuterie board (like big mice people chopped it up and left crumbles) making the cheese unusable to slice up for bread. You won't regret this (and will slim down by not eating 1" chunks of cheese at a time)!

We were looking for something quick. Not sturdy at all. Only 1 of the 3 were actually working. The other 2 were not slicing the cheese and kept separating the wood from the metal piece. Next time, I’ll spend a little extra to get a better quality.
