Easy Installation

100/100As we're getting older, the better half's hands are getting old. It's getting harder to cut cheese and such so we've tried several slicers over the past 6 months or so. THIS is the better half's favorite. In fact, she used it just last night.Her only "complaint" was that the "blade" (wire) wasn't tight enough . . . but a simple adjustment fixed that in minutes.It comes with spare "blades". The base is solid metal, unlike so many out there that use plastic. Due to this, there is little to no "flex" when using it. It cleans quickly and easily as well.Ultimately, is it worth the price? Yes

I found myself wanting an older version of a cheese cutter and happened to stumble on this gem. I was worried it was going to be too large, but its actually a good size to have in the kitchen. I buy cheese at Sam's and Costco in blocks, like Muenster which is super hard to slice sandwich slices with a knife. This slicer helps me do that which saves me money. Its also been nice to slice cheese for lunches, charcuterie boards and snacks from the grocery store blocks because the board has a guide so I know the slices are straight. Using a knife is fine but the cheese sticks to the knife, whereas the wire on this omits that annoyance when slicing. It lays flat for storing easily in or out of the box. It will pop in a drawer or you can slide it in the cabinet on its side. It cleans up easily as well.
