I would find one that looks a little bit more durable. It worked for a little while, but It did stop.

ich brauchte eine Lösung für das bekannte "Ich habe mehr Festplatten als Anschlüsse Problem".Das passiert natürlich nur mit absurd vielen Festplatten ... Sollte man aber dieses Problem haben, das Gerät löst es. Funktioniert so wie es soll - komplett bekloppt aber tut.

Tried using this card in my nas to have some extra ports for data migration. None of the 2tb disks were detected by the nas (truenas, latest version on 19*1*2024)Also read some extensive posts on the forum that they are a generally bad idea for a storage solution on the tuenas forums.Avoid getting these.

A very useful device, plung and play on windows 11 pro, now I have 5 additional sata connector to connect many hd drives, old cd-dvd writer, etc.

I'm sure others have had it worked, but mine is just defective. Checked bios and other, and it's supposed to work with unraid. I have a super micro board. Tested in other machines and still nothing, just flashed red and stopped.

Had to send it back. No matter what I tried, I could only get the port closest to the M2 header to work. The indicator light for the other 4 ports would not light up and my system would not detect the drives.

This SATA adapter seems to be working great in my TrueNAS server. I have not been able to perform any transfer speed tests, but I can tell you the controller is VERY slow identifying the drives at boot time. The first time I booted up after installing the drives I thought the controller had locked up because it took almost 60 seconds to identify the drives before booting could continue. Since this is a NAS that will be running 24/7 and rarely rebooted it is not a big deal, but if you are watching it boot up you better have patience :)

No instruction on how to install or initiate the the units. It is not plug and play. CARFULL you might lose some of your mbo SATA conections when using this.
