While I am no stranger to ChiaoGoo knitting needles, these are quite special in what they can do for sleeves, mitts or socks. The only advice I have is, keep the needles in the zippered pouch. Due to their small size, they tend to slip out the needle portion. Otherwise I highly recommend. Will be looking to invest in the other sizes.

Great knitting needles. Smooth. Very slick which can be problematic for some knitters. The cords are unmatched! No weird curls and kinks like other circulars.

I love this little set. Each needle size comes with a pair of short tips and slightly longer tips, so you're essentially getting two sets of needles for each size. I often use the shorter tip on the left side and the longer tip on the right, but knitting with two shorter tips is still comfortable. The blue cable is flexible, and the set also includes a red silicone heart to grip the needles when tightening. These are great for knitting sleeves--I prefer them to using magic loop. Highly recommend.

I have the smaller set and love the following aspects:* Compact self contained set of 6 needle sizes* Clearly marked pockets for each set of needles* Two needle lengths* Although tiny (hence the "mini" name) the cords are easy to put on and take off* Great selection of cord lengths* The needles are perfectly pointed and smooth* The cords never twistThe most phenomenal set especially for on-the-go knitters so I simply had to buy the bigger needle set.I could go on and on about how wonderful these sets are!

I got this set after learning on the fly that I needed shorter tips to work on children's items. And spending close to the purchase price on just the couple tip sets for the one sweater while knowing that I had a couple more sitting and waiting. I am VERY happy about how compact and organized the set is. I like having two different tip lengths it allows for more options. Last but probably not least for most people, while my "curly" cords for my other needles never bothered me a lot, the ChiaoGoo memory free cords are nice! Even if they can be a little straight sometimes...lol!

The 3in needles don't have a key hole to tighten. I thought it was a factory miss. I called the seller she found out because the 3in needles are hollow they couldn't put a hole in the needle part(all the chords have a key hole). The 2in needles in the blue case and the whole complete set in the red case are all solid and have key holes in the needles. So for the 3in sizes US 4-8 they recommended to use a rubber band or a grip of sorts to help tighten. The seller I contacted was very helpful 5 stars to the lady that answered the phone, she helped me find a convenient grip for my set. Eventually chaigoo will put a grip in their set is the word on the street. The needles themselves are very easy, smooth and comfortable to use. Perfect for small circumference knitting when you don't want to use the magic loop or double pointed needles. Worth every penny for me!
