It is still made of galvanized stainless steel, but the capacity has been upgraded from 30 pounds to 95 pounds, and the feeding ports have been increased to 10, allowing more chickens to eat at the same time. In addition, we have redesigned the lid and made it tilted to effectively prevent chickens from roosting on it.

The feeder came with picture instructions that didn’t help much. Took my husband 1.5 hours to put together. I have not used it for the chickens yet.

Easy to put together and they spill very little feed on the ground.

Did not like direction provided. Pictures-no words-which I don’t mind but pictures small and details hard to see. Took two try’s to discover what I could not see in picture which aggravated me to no end.Feeder is great. Little pricy, but a good durable feeder. I hang the feeder, not sure it would not be knocked over frequently with narrow, short leg base.

Hard to put together. Once I put the feed in the lid didn’t quite fit as well. Do not prefer this one. I bought it because of the slanted lid. The first one I bought had a flat lid and the birds would perch and poop on there, but that was easily solved with putting some chicken wire on top, but I do prefer the other one I purchased.
