I’ve never owned a meat shredder. I just pick apart tender meat with two forks. I saw videos of people using this tool, and just had to try it. I’m so glad I did! It works sooo much better, yielding more consistent pieces for many recipes – and quickly. It arrived unassembled, and it’s easy to put together when you look for the small arrow on the white plastic piece that shows where it snaps over the black spikes. I cooked two whole skinned chickens in my clay baker, and shredded ALL of it. It took quite a while to de-bone them, but the shredding took only seconds. A few pieces along the outer edges stayed whole but, once I rotated them back in, they quickly separated. The rubber pieces on the base kept it from slipping around on the counter, and the shredding action was smooth and effortless. The directions showed to turn the handles in one direction only, but that was cumbersome, and it was easier and just as effective to twist back & forth instead. It's easy to clean, but the scrub brush is a nice bonus; it facilitates getting the meat bits out of the spikes, and can also be used for general kitchen scrubbing. I recommend this handy shredding tool for any kitchen!

Easy to use and good size. I was able to easy shred 2 chicken breast at a time. Doesn’t take a lot of strength so even my kids can do it.

This is a great purchase. It is very handy, shreds meat very quickly and effortlessly. Easy to clean and come with a cleaning brush. I would definitely recommend this product.
