Teflon coating has its drawbacks. Unfortunately one of the two cables had a protrusion, causing noticable friction when inserted into a cable housing, making it unusable.

I have a 23 year old specialized with an XTR grupo. I didn’t want to spend 60 dollars plus on XTR cables. Purchased these and they shift like butter. Highly Recommend if you need cables for your XTR shifters on a budget. Oh and they arrived next day. Thanks man!!

Broke my shifter cable and this was exactly the replacement cable I was looking for. The Teflon coating helps the cable glide.

Have used these for a couple months now and they have been performing well. Shifting is tight and good. Cables are stiff with little flex.

So far so good. Can’t comment on the longevity of this and some people have said that Teflon coated cables the coding wears off after a while but I believe this is an improvement over the bear cables normally used. we will see. So far I like them and I recommend them.
