I bought this stand because I started playing the ukulele and often go to parks and restaurants. Great value as it comes with a case, lights, clip and has built-in tongs to hold your music in place. Only issue is that it's hard to slip the music holder out of the stand but I'm sure that will get easier as I use it more.

i was really impressed with this item it is a little wobbly but i think its because of the beak downable stand it holds my 10inch tablet and phone that I use for my tuner and my music book with no problems and the light with a plug in option was nice also

They work even better than I hoped. The stand folds up nicely for easy portability. The music angle is adjustable with a good lip, and the spring clamps hold music securely. The lights are a nice plus feature.

The music stand feels flimsy, but works for my purposes...sheet music. Wouldn't trust it with much more than that. The double-headed LED light that comes with the package would be a great idea if it worked! I got only a couple brief periods of use out of it before the switch on one of the light heads would no longer shut the light off. Had to disconnect a battery to do so. Also, after a couple more uses, the head with the still-functional switch began flickering during use.

This stand works great for me in my living room. It's all I was looking for in a stand. Sets up and folds up easily, but it does take some effort to zip up the carry case. I'm not gonna drop my rating for a cheap carry bag. The light that comes with the stand is a great bonus. I recommend this stand for anyone that just wants something they can use for practice at home that can be easily be put out of the way when finished.

My son likes it for cello practice. He can fold it up and take it to school easily. Good price, and they throw in a neat little LED music light that you can use as a reading light. Not a heavy duty stand, but it has held up for the last year.

This is a review of the ChromaCast CC-MSTAND-KIT-1 Folding Music Stand.Summary - We were renting a stand - snare from our school and decided to buy our own to save on rental fees. This is being compared to the stand provided by Menchey Music at our school. I do wish the knobs where a softer feel as they have that more rough plastic feel to them and the bag for storing this in did feel a little on the thin side. Overall you are getting what stands in this price range will offer. If you need to use this daily, professionally, etc, you may want to invest a little more. This would be great for students in my opinion.In terms of quality, this is well made and is solid with what appears to be 1/4" tubing. The paper holding area is 20" wide and plenty for holding our daughters paperwork and music. On the front, you can also pivot two arms to aid in holding your music which is nice. The tension I would rate as firm. We tried different books, etc, and it was able to hold items up to the size-weight of a hymnal without problems.In terms of portability, this is just about the same as our past stand. It collapses into one unit and then you have a dual headed lamp light which has a nice firm spring to clip to however you want it. Since this uses a led light, the batteries (AAAx3) are cheap, last long and are easy to replace.Overall what we expected.
