The linkage is fine but the bolts that came with it are rust orange!!!! Best to buy once and cry once!

Just installed it yesterday. Didn't take but 5 minutes to put on. Haven't been able to test it out due to having surgery on my foot last week. But nevertheless.. it looks good on the bike. Came with what I believe to be some type of link cover of some sort.. but I for the life of me can't figure out exactly where it goes... 🤷🏻♂️

For around twenty bucks this shift linkage is a huge upgrade from OEM. The chrome is top shelf and the ends pivot freely and are larger than the OEM. It was a quick and easy swap for my 02’ Eletraglide and looks great. Simple yet cost effective upgrade for your Harley that I highly recommend.

While so far I’ve not had any problems with the shift linkage on the Road Glide, I do know the stock ones can fail and that a Heim Joint is preferable.This shift linkage is attractive, a bit more interesting than the stock one which is just a rod. No instructions were included, although it should be pretty obvious on how to install it, and I managed to do it in a few minutes. There is about an inch of length adjustability with these, although in my case the shortest length was needed. I did use blue loctite, not included. There is a chrome cover included that probably could go over the arm, although I didn’t see the need to use it.I know some say the bike shifts “better” with this, although I really don’t notice any differences. I never had an issues with the stock one, and this one works well. For me, it’s more a bit of peace of mind that I wouldn’t have a failure with a shift linkage on the road somewhere.I can wholeheartedly recommend this shift linkage.

Before and after picks show the huge difference from stock. Simple and clean. Hardware could be a little better quality but works. Don't forget loctite.
