I usually drink at least 3-4 cups of coffee before heading to work, so I have a regular coffee maker. But once in a while, I want to have just a cup of coffee. With my 12-cup coffee maker, I have to make at least 2 cups of coffee, then I have to wash the filter cup and the pot with the lid. I often compromise having a cup of instant coffee. I got a similar single-serve K-cup coffee maker before, but it was so loud, I couldn’t use it.When I saw this, I had to think about ordering it twice. What if it was too loud like the other one? Where can I put this in my limited-spaced kitchen? But my office has a K-cup coffee maker, and I really like having a small cup of coffee in the afternoon. It tastes absolutely better than any instant coffee. So I ordered it.This coffee maker is very lightweight and fits perfectly where I usually store my big bag of tortilla chips. I guess I shouldn’t buy such a big bag of chips for myself…It took less than 3 minutes to make 12 oz of coffee. But it was way too weak for my taste, so I’ve been making it with 6 oz of water now (6 oz is the standard serving size for a cup of coffee). It feels like it takes longer than my office coffee maker, but that thing is definitely bigger and fancier than this, so I’m assuming it has a bigger power to brew coffee faster. Before I used it for the first time, I brewed water to clean it. The temperature of the hot water was about 177ºF. I want my hot drink really hot, so this temperature works for me.I used my 20-oz cup tumbler, which is about 7" tall. It did fit, but the instructions recommended taking out the tray when you use a cup taller than 7", so I did, and it worked better that way. I'm posting a couple of photos. I like that this tray can be placed higher for a smaller cup.The noise-wise, I’m not saying this is as quiet as a regular dripping coffee maker. But because I had a super noisy one before, it doesn’t bother me as much as my old one. This is truly a basic K-cup coffee maker, but it works perfectly for my needs, and I love how compact it is. I was able to get it in white. I am happy with this one. I better go and get more K-cups.

This is a great size single serve machine when space is at a premium. I'm using this in my camper and it's perfect. I have very little "kitchen" space available in there and this is machine if very compact, but still works well. No more bringing bags of instant coffee on the road with us, or living off gas station coffee. Works great!

Not bad u just have to press the button on top to stop it or it will overflow 8oz coffee cup. Not bad I just wish u could see where to add water better how much is in it. With this design u cant see it. Definitely add less water u do have to watch it. It’s just ok for one person for a family i would not recommend this one. I think better design out there would rather pay more have quality be better. Not what I was expecting. Just because of design I would probably not get this one again needs better design and function. More worth 20 dollars not close to 40. Very cheaply made .

I don't use K-cups often, so a little machine like this is all that I need. It takes 3 minutes, total: To clamp the K-cup in place through the cycle to complete. Of those three minutes, it takes a full two minutes to heat. I seem to remember an old Keurig machine that I used heated quicker. But three minutes total is not bad. And, it does provide a nice hot cup of coffee. And I mean that literally: I tested this with 8 ounce pours. The machine is lightweight and has a small imprint. I don't like the elevated cup holder. It does not fit in the mounting slots easily/evenly. And my cup fits on it unevenly because the metal drain plate is lower than the outer ridge of the plastic that holds it. It is also too small for most of my small cups that hold an 8 ounce pour.It is not a bad machine to travel with. But the cord is not retractable. It's not a long cord either.
