The CIRO Floorboard Highway Peg mount is the best alternative for mounting highway pegs on touring bikes without engine guards, like the Harley-Davidson Road Glide 3. Installation only took 30 - 45 minutes with the proper tools. Adjustment of the Highway pegs to the rider’s preference only takes a few minutes.

First time I tried this style of highway peg mount, works much better then the crash bars mounts and looks a lot cleaner as well.

Quality made product, they are a bit pricey though. I didnt want to scratch my freshly powdercoated highway bars so these were a great alternative. Work as they should and are extremely comfortable. I am 6'2" and the regular reach arms are perfect for how i ride.

So, first off let me say i have a custom bike with custom parts so this was not a straight forward install. However, I called Ciro and they were WONDERFUL on helping me. Truly was great customer service. AMERICAN Call taker and this guy RIDES bikes for sure. He knew EVERY answer to my questions. including sizes needed and he hit me up with a " "you probably have," scenarios and was correct each time!!!! He even asked me if I go to bike rallys because he can have it fixed for me there. ( I was able to do it myself). My bike is an 18 HD RG Ultra. ( yeah you thought it was a SPECIAL didnt you :)So, if you have a custom exhaust from the engine ( not just slip on exhaust) then you MIGHT have a spacer on your right side foot board to push your board away from the new exhaust ( like I found out I have for my V&H exhaust). In doing this the part will not fit on the right side because the brace that mounts under the floorboard is too far away. Do not fear!!!! just a few extra steps here. So, look at the pics. You will see a white spacer. This is a nylon one that is temp until I can get a metal one. ( still looking to find the one I want, they are out there) (one of the pics shows the black spacer that was on the floorboards installed). This is a 3/8 in dia by 1 in spacer. The bolt will have to come from hardware store ( I went to Home depot and went to those BINS that have all the odd screws, the one you want is there. It is a M10 by 2 1/2 in (bring old bolt from bike with you). The other two bolts will work just fine. You just need the one to go where the white spacer is. Again, this is only one side. The rest is straight forward design. The instructions are fine. I will not bore you with that (YOUTUBE). However the spacer and longer bolt needed to be mentioned. I LOVE these. I have (had) highway pegs on the engine guards but to me they just are too far away. So these are perfect. I can rest my heel on the floorboard and toe on the peg, or foot fully on peg or even heel over peg. Love them. Down side, If you ever tilt the bike over, like you know, when you try to take a great pic on the Blue Ridge Parkway on uneven ground and the bike falls over the peg may break ( no this did not happen because I did not install these until I got home, but I think it would of been an issue had they been installed). Pic came out great though (last pic)
