I absolutely love this bike from Qlife. The frame is perfect for a more feminine look without compromising sporty integrity. The way the battery tucks into the frame out of sight is a huge bonus as my old bike had an external battery that really stood out. I added a bike rack and fenders and basket and it’s perfect now. There’s a Cruze control setting on the throttle you just hold it down for about 10 seconds and you see a symbol pop up on the screen and you can let go of the throttle and either tap it or the brakes to turn it off. This bike has gone up to 24 mph on flat ground and I pedal with the bike to avoid running down the battery up hills and taking off. The battery could last longer. I find myself having to charge it every time I take a ride and my old e-bike would last a few days going to a from work. The assist settings in this bike are much better though as I am able to set it to 3 or 4 on flat ground and get more exercise. Overall I am very happy with the price I paid for how sturdy and fast this bike is.

My son really loved this bike, but the battery life is atrocious. After finally getting the seller to agree to send a replacement battery (just that took 3 weeks and amazon involvement), he tried it today with the new, fully charged battery. He rode for a total of 4 miles/20 minutes using pedal assist, and the battery was nearly dead when he got home. It's really a shame, because the bike seems well-built, and he really liked it, but I'm returning it.

Loving this Qlife E-Bike so far!Shipping was efficient and the contents arrived well protected. The assembly process was a piece of cake, more on that in a bit. After assembly, I noted that the tires only had about 15lbs in them and the battery was about 2/3 full. I pumped up the tires and took it for a ride around the block, which has a fairly steep slope. WOW! Going up the first hill felt like I might as well have been on flat ground! It was wonderful in peddle assist. I went ahead and stopped peddling and tried out the trigger for full electric mode. Acceleration was smooth and I was up to full speed in no time! There was another feature that I didn't remember seeing when I made the purchase, and that is the cruise control function. Hold the throttle trigger down full for about five seconds and it takes you to full speed and holds it, until you hit the brakes. Awesome! The bike looks good, the seven-speed shifter works smoothly and from what I can tell, the motor and battery are flawless!Ok, assembly... Like I said before, I didn't have any troubles at all. The video on the product, and the instruction booklet do a good job of walking you through it. After I unboxed everything, the first thing I noticed was the amount of padding and zip ties used to keep everything secure and protected! A pair of snippers comes in handy for removing this. Unlike the video and booklet, the handle bars actually come fully assembled. All you have to do is insert the stem, position and tighten it down. The seat, pedals and front wheel all install very easily. As others have noted, the front wheel doesn't come with a quick release tab, but that's not a big deal to me at all. I installed the reflectors, front headlight, and went over everything to make sure it was all tight and positioned correctly. Lastly, I connected the power plug and we were ready to go! The whole process took under 30 minutes. There were a couple things that I did want to mention regarding installation. If you purely follow the directions, you are going to have some extra parts. There is a small plug to cover the locking bolt for the handlebars, and what looks to be a plastic cover to go over the main nut on the handlebar receiving tube. They also included some extra pieces for helping to keep the wire bundles in place and organized. There were no written instructions for installing the front headlight or the rear reflector. But it's all pretty self-explanatory.All in all, very easy set up and it's ready to go right out of the box! The test drive was a pleasure, and I'm looking forward to logging lots of miles on this bike!

I've had many bicycles, this is my first ebike. I'm 6'1", 160lbs and the bike fits me fine. After struggling up the hills around Portland and Vancouver, I decided to finally try an electric. I've had it for just over two months and I have 100+ miles. So far, it's amazing. It looks great, rides great, and is lots of fun. Durability seems good. Assembly was easy, no issues at all with build quality and the value is through the roof. All of this shipped to my door for under $500. It has 5 pedal assist modes and a throttle. There are 7 gear speeds. FYI the electric pedal assist power immediately disengages when either brake, the shifter, or the throttle are touched. This is a great safety feature to be aware of. I find that keeping my gear speed 2 speeds above the pedal assist speed works well. So PAS 1 = gear 3, full speed PAS 5 = high gear 7, etc. I most commonly just keep it in high gear with pedal assist on 4 or 5. This gets me around town, around 20 miles range. This gets into possible negatives: battery life and power. I won't remove any stars, because I was not expecting a huge, powerful battery. Just be aware, that if you want to cruise around all day without pedaling and blast up very steep hills, this bike is not for you. On steep hills, you will definitely be pedaling! This bike is more equivalent to a hybrid car, rather than a full electric car. I still want the exercise of a bike ride, and I get it.. I just don't get destroyed on hills or long rides. I can add my daughter in a bike trailer and be able to pedal around without my legs falling off. The only other thing I would want would be the gearing slightly higher, so I could still get pedal resistance when coming down faster hills. For me though, those are all non-issues, I'm just letting others know. Customer service has been responsive, they sent me a video of how to remove the rear tire to change the tube.. it wasn't much worse than a normal bicycle with derailleur. Highly recommend this bicycle!
