The Alba guitar Armrest is the latest addition to the Alba guitar beads family of accessories for nylon string guitar players. The armrest is fabricated from exceptionally durable PC material, and its surface is decorated with an elaborated wood grain graphic. Thanks to advanced image application technology, it is hard to tell it isn’t a wooden product. The top is finished with a gloss topcoat to provide a sleek surface for the arm.

The armrest design pinnacle is the elegant curve that allows the forearm to sit comfortably. The Alba guitar Armrest was designed for the standard classical guitars and flamenco guitars but would also fit a variety of other instruments.

The armrest installation is effortless, with two suction cups to attach to the guitar’s side. It has two cork pads on each bout to prevent scratches to the guitar top. This installation technique enables the guitar top to vibrate freely without damping the sound, and you might also notice an increase in the guitar’s volume and projection since the armrest minimises the damping of the top caused by the forearm. The armrest is designed to sit on the guitar side, at approximately 5mm above the top. Once attached, the guitar rest would be adequate in most guitar cases on the guitar. Fit it once and forget about it while travelling, although we advise removing the armrest after each use to preserve your guitar finish.

I returned this item the first time. I actually contacted the company and they apologized saying they have no control of what Amazon sends out. The item was used ( scratched , all the stick on pads were used and the box was already opened ) . When I received the replacement one , they ( Amazon ) sent another used one. Once again mentioned this to the manufacturer. Nothing they can do. The guitar rest is awesome , the company who makes it is awesome. Amazon needs better quality control. I feel bad for the manufacturer …

This arm rest works perfectly on my guitar. It is comfortable and I can switch it between guitars. It is very smooth so that I don't neet to wear an arm sock, which is a big plus. It's well worth the price for me.

Está bien diseñado en cuanto a tamaño y forma. La sujeción mediante ventosas es eficaz. Mi única objeción sería el material de construcción: plástico. Creo que sería preferible, dado que es un accesorio para un instrumentos de madera, que estuviera construido también en ese material. Visualmente imita la madera, pero no lo es.

Der Armrest sieht dezent aus und vom weiten kann man nicht erkennen, dass er extra angebracht wurde. Es ist ein angenehmeres Spielgefühl durch die abgerundete Kante.

Looks, fits, and feels great. Not sure if it really improves the sound or not, but it obviously protects the guitar's finish.

I purchased this item to improve the sound of my Merida Extrema Trajan T5 classical guitar, The guitar has a gloss finish, so I was able to use the suction cups rather than the sticky film, which may be needed for open pore finishes. I shyed away from wooden stick on rests due to the possibility of damaging trhe finish on the guitar.The guitar has more volume, sustain and an improved tone. I have been looking at the possibility of changing the guitar, but now probably won't spend the extra money needed to get a better guitar. I don't intend to perform, so this set up will be fine for home use. To top things off, the guitar is now more comfortable to play, no sharp edge and the bonus of being able to remove the rest and install it on my acoustic guitar. An excellent purchase.

certains diront que c'est du plastique, que çà ne colle pas....Ma REPONSE Je possède une petite collection de 12 guitares 3/4 et4/4 sur lesquelles il était impossible d'installer un repose bras. CET ACCOUDOIR EST LE MEILLEUR ACCESSOIRE POUR LE BRAS. en effet PVC = facilité d'entretien ,Ventouses = démontable et interchangeable rapidement sur n'importe quelle guitare à vernis gloss et en plus il rentre dans l'étui en restant sur la guitare.Merci, beau produit (en plus la présentation en boîte est agréable)GEHLE

The color of the brown armrest harmonizes well with the East Indian rosewood sides of my classical guitar. The armrest is easy to position and apply, and the suction cups haven't, so far, affected the polyurethane finish. Given the more gentle curve, the rest is easier on my forearm. I like the compactness, that the guitar, with rest, can be placed back into the case. The shape follows the top curvature nicely. I prefer this rest, on my practice guitar, to the larger plastic rest available that clamps onto the guitar body but precludes case storage.

Pro: Easily reversible non-damaging attachment with suction cups rather than double-sided adhesive tape.Cons: They erroneously sent the lighter brown fake woodgrain model, which looks cheap. The plastic has rough spots and a visible seam. There are self-adhesive cork strips to protect the soundboard. However, this indicates that the armrest is flexible enough to contact the soundboard, which contradicts one of the purposes of the device. Moreover, the price is too high for a piece of cheap plastic. Although I will be returning this item, I am still considering purchasing the darker non-woodgrain version to compare its functionality with other classical guitar armrests.

The video ad for this product shows a seamless picturesque finish. What you get is a skin with seams rough edges everywhere that appear to be peeling away out of the box. You can certainly feel the seams as well. Which has me concerned that it will soon peel off after using it every day. Rough edges could scratch your guitar if it rubs.That said, it does actually work pretty well. It really doesn't touch the guitar if you install it correctly and it comes with cork stickers that stick to the armrest and not your guitar(Seller-they should be form fitted across the whole edge and be already attached out of the box). I have a new expensive classical guitar that has a really nice finish and sound. I have oily skin and I think this will allow the guitar to resonate and keep my fat arms from muting the top.I d planed to give a low review for the quality of this product given the price, but I would like to see this idea improved. So I only took off one star for the rough edges in hopes the makers see this and decide to put more into it. It is overpriced for the quality you get but the form is spot on. Kudos for that.

The material is not wood, but that is alright. The armrest is comfortable with a smooth curved top and no hard edge. Is stays in place well and doesn't get in the way at all. It still fits in my case with it on. It has no real downsides to it. I will see how well the suction cups last, but so far they are working great too. This product is perfect for me and my playing.
