No more stepping on the keyboard and sending an email that I haven't finished or messing up a spreadsheet. Working from home just got better. Fits perfectly over my keyboard allowing plenty of room for my fingers, but not enough for my cat to crawl under and she tried. I love the added kitty perks I found in the box. Allows me to entertain my furry friend during breaks. Highly recommend for work and home. Love it!!

This was the only 4.5" tall cover I saw. Hands fit under it with lots of room. Could fit my Apple keyboard and an Apple compatible keypad with the 13 extra Home, End, and Arrow buttons. Just remember to peel off the plastic cover, which fits so well, you don't realize it covers it, if you want see thru to see your hands. It is very sturdy and can probably hold kittie's weight, altho she has not stepped on it yet. The best feature is that Mommie can pile all kinds of things on it like pencils, cups, phone, ect.

This is perfect. It fits right over my full size keyboard, has plenty of room for my hands underneath and is transparent so I can still see the keyboard when I need to (as long as a cat isn't sitting on it!). I also loved, as others have said, that it came with a cat toy! It also came with a mouse pad and with another mysterious acrylic piece that confused me until I figured out that it's a nifty phone stand!

The product itself is exactly what was advertised. A very nice acrylic bridge. It comes with a mounting bracket and some clear tape, if you might need that for whatever setup that you have, and a pretty nice mouse pad. It was the cat toys, a wand and a few fuzzy lures, that were also in the box that made me smile, though.

I have two young cats who love to help me type. I saw this keyboard protector and thought it too costly at first. However, when one of my cats jumped down from the top of my office cabinets directly onto my keyboard, I decided to go ahead with the purchase. It works out perfectly. Now both cats use it as a bridge across the keyboard and I can keep typing without interference or their added characters to my text. The product is heavy duty acrylic and gives enough space for your hands to type comfortably. I would recommend it if you have cats.

My little kitten has gotten to a hyperactive age and he's been crawling all over my desk while I've been trying to work. This cover has been perfect! It also comes with an optional backing and little nubs you can place on the bottom to prevent it from scratching your desk.AND as a completely unlisted bonus, there were some cool gifts included! A little "fishing pole" with an attachable toy worm (kitten has been 'hooked' on it), a cute mousepad of the moon, an acrylic stand of some sorts (perhaps for a phone? or other cable item?), and some other things I haven't been able to get a close look at.All in all, I'm glad I made this purchase! And now I don't have to feel guilty by kicking the kitten out of the room when it comes work time. He is now a very well behaved desktop cat ;)

In desperation to be able to write SOMETHING without a bunch of random characters inserted throughout, I went looking for something like this, and came across this one.I knew I would find it to be a most useful thing, but didn't realize exactly how awesome it would turn out to be! At first I was a little disappointed because it appeared cloudy and scratched, even after removing the film from the outside, but it was sturdy and I decided it was worth it anyway. Then I finally realized that there was another piece of film along the inside, and once I removed that, it was as clear as clear could be. VERY sturdy, and the solid weight along with the non-skid footie stick-ons ensure that my extremely persistent cats can't move it. It's a little bit taller than I'd like right now, because my 3 lb kitten could easily fit under it, which I expect him to realize soon, but a) he's growing and won't fit under it for long, and b) putting a large book underneath my keyboard (after playing with a few thicknesses to see what would still allow my hands to work freely) solves the problem in the meantime. Plus... extra prezzies! A very cool Pluto mouse pad, and a nifty cat toy, along with a lucite ring and a lucite hook that I'm not yet sure what they're for, but based on the rest of the package I'm guessing it's something useful. And I'm VERY happy with the fact that I just made it through this entire review without any kitten additions to the text ;)One caveat: I did briefly try to use it as a monitor stand, as suggested, which would have given me more desk space. Unfortunately the monitor was too heavy and caused the shelf to sag in the middle. So unless you have an unusually light monitor, that's not likely to work, which is a little disappointing. Nevertheless, I'm delighted with my purchase.

OMG I hesitated for a long time before buying this expensive piece of acrylic - would it be wide enough? Would it work with a laptop? And I'm happy to say, it's perfect. It's high enough for me to type easily. It's clear so I can see most of my laptop screen (there is one line that sometimes is hidden behind the shelf and I can deal with it). It keeps the cats from walking, sitting, or jumping on the keyboard.The shelf is about half an inch thick and very sturdy. Looks like a single piece of acrylic bent at the ends. I would not put anything more than about 20 pounds on it as I have no desire to test it's strength.Given all the issues I've had trying to keep my cats off the my laptop keyboard (because it's warm, because it's near me, because - cats), it has been worth it. The shelf is still cheaper than a new laptop.It comes with an extra piece of thinner acrylic and clear tape so you can box in one side - however I have no need to use that piece with my laptop, and even if i was using it with a regular keyboard, I probably wouldn't bother.All in all a good investment.

It works great and looks great too. Arrived with a protective film so it wouldn't get scratched. It also came with a couple of freebies including a telescopic cat toy which my cats enjoy so much they hardly spend any time on my desk anymore.
