I like to burn candles in my bathroom at night while I'm in the bathroom,instead of the overhead light and these really add a nice ambience I am using tea candles in them which are just about the right size for my purposes in the bathroom don't need a lot of light just want to create a soft light not too bright

The votives are very pretty. Nice shape, sturdy thick glass and really enhances the effect of the candle when lit. Unfortunately, I can't use them for the wall sconce that has 12 round holes to put the votives in. Some of the holes are not the same size as others on the sconce. They are off by just a fraction of an inch or just slightly irregular. But they will look beautiful in other areas of my home. Tables, centerpieces, holiday tables settings, etc. I would recommend.

The clear, perfectly cast glass is a beautiful and sturdy tea light holder. But there is another purpose. The glass makes for a wonderful decorative, optical lens- (upside down or right side up), depending upon the application.I use them for my Illuminated Black Hole Sculptures. The "lens" perfectly refracts the bulb light seated behind it and it displays dramatic rings of illumination. Combined with other hand-cut, translucent materials to effect a glowing accretion disk, the lens conducts the back light for a realistic model of the EHT's M-87 Black Hole and also the Black Hole as pictured in Interstellar.I told you it was an unusual application :)

I actually bought these candle holders to use as bird feeders in my barn. I wanted something heavy duty and solidly made of glass and these work perfectly for what I needed them for! They are just the right height for the birds, too. Shipping was super speedy, and the candle holders were well packed for shipping; no broken holders at all. As for their intended use as candle holders, I have no doubt that these little holders would look beautiful when lit, they really are very nice and well made, and at a great price! Bought these out of town in a store and was pleased to see them on Amazon as well to purchase them for home.I dropped one of these things on a HARD tile floor from five feet up and was sure it was going to shatter and ruin my afternoon. Nope, it just bounced a few times before I caught it - not a scratch on it.The thick design of the glass allows for a nice glow to be cast around it on the surface it sits on - very nice.Because they're thick glass, they're heavy so they won't move around or make a mess if you accidentally tap one.Price is great. They come in two boxes of 12, so I kept one and am gifting the other. Winning.
