Now, they do say it's lightweight, so truth in advertising here. It certainly looks striking enough. I'm no pro chef but have worked with a few knives over the years, as most of us have. I would say definitely a 4 of 5 on the blade, but given the cost, this is definitely a contender, especially as a backup or for a vacation home. Cheers!

This meat cleaver is so much lighter than the average cleaver, yet it does the job extremely well. It's comfortable to hold, and it looks nice on my magnetic knife holder. It's too pretty to leave it hidden in a drawer between uses. It arrived extremely sharp, and ready to use, unlike other knives I've purchased, where I had to sharpen them prior to using it for the first time. I was very happy that I didn't have to do that with this knife, and it holds the sharp edge really well.

A good option if you want a more compact version! Has a good handle shape for holding and looks cool too!

This is a great cleaver knife at an unbeatable value. The knife itself is lightweight but sturdy, doesn’t flex and is incredibly sharp. It fits comfortably in your hand and the added width since this is a cleaver makes it double function like a bench scraper. Sticks strongly to my magnetic knife strip as well. Easy to clean though you should dry by hand. Looks great and works great!

It just hammers through pork ribs and chicken thighs. The blade is not super sharp as is has a wider edge which is better when you are swinging this into a cutting board. And the weight is right in the center for better control in your swing. It is pretty big, so make sure your knife block can handle it
