I've bought three of these gloves so far. The first were a black pair of 12oz that have been great and I still use to this day. Two pairs of 16oz red gloves have been a nightmare. I bought the first pair in February and didn't realize that the rash was from these gloves until a friend of mine visited and got the same rash when I let him wear my 16oz red gloves. By that time it had been past a month and Amazon and Cleto wouldn't let me return them, so I bought a second pair because customer service told me it wasn't the gloves. I bought a 2nd pair in July, wore them once, and the pictures attached are the result -- a bad rash that is messing with my sleep. I have no allergies, and nothing else has caused this rash. Not my 12oz, and not my other 16oz Hyabusa gloves. I have only ever gotten this rash from the 4 times I have worn these two pairs of the same specific 16oz red Cleto Reyes gloves.

These are too tight. I got 16 oz, the next size up is 18oz, but I have returned both styles of the 16oz gloves. They are very restrictive.

These gloves look great, have great quality but aren't my cup of tea. The 16oz are very thin and I didn't want to spar in them because it seemed like I was wearing much lighter gloves. The velcro wrist wrap hits too high on the arm and doesn't support the wrist, but that's the style of glove so more personal preference than quality.Inside the glove felt nice, except for around the fingertips. Gloves typically have a nice ridge in there for the fingers to get some purchase on, these don't have that.Maybe I just need to try a different model of Reyes gloves because I hear great things. The padding issue is the biggest thing. Maybe the ones with extra padding--the Super Bag gloves-- might solve some of these issues, but these are thin for the weight. Might be worth trying those.

I have metal rods and plates in both of my wrists. I never thought I would be able to throw bombs at my heavy bag without fear. I've owned 8 different pair of gloves and I wish I would have just saved my money and got these. It will be hard to switch to anything else again. Night and day difference
