Bookcase took me a hot minute to assemble because despite my sitting and studying the instructions beforehand and doing my best to think out the steps, there are still some nuances in the instructions that I missed initially, which led to having to take apart and re-assemble a couple of times. Probably just my issue, but I do think the instructions could be a bit clearer. That being said, I was able to get it done in about 1.5 hours. Would have gone faster if I'd have thought sooner to use my drill with a special bit rather than their provided hand wrench *facepalm* Other than that snaffoo, the bookcase looks PERFECT as is exactly what I wanted and as pictured. I'm very pleased!

For the money, it’s very nice. I bought it to have a safe open space for my internet modem, and it works well.It seems pretty sturdy, although I have no plans to put anything especially heavy on it, and fits perfectly in the space.The directions are basic, at best, and the hardware is not labelled (the larger pieces are) but it’s pretty easy to figure it out. Between the directions snd the picture on the box, it was straightforward.I put it together by myself in about an hour, so it’s neither too complex nor unwieldy for one person. Be sure to not completely tighten the screws until all the pieces are assembled—it will make it easier to match up screws and holes!Overall it’s a nice piece, especially for the price. I’m pleased with it and definitely recommend it.

I needed functional but not too wide for my new "home office" that is on my main level. This is a great item - very nice to look at, very sturdy and functional. I got a bit confused with putting the legs together but only had to make one minor correction. No idea what "thickness" means as I had to rate that - the builder is pretty thick but the shelf has perfect dimensions.

It was a bit confusing to put together. The instructions are not super clear for the first two steps and there are only picture diagrams. However, that being said I never build my own furniture and was able to figure it out in less than 2 hours. Once built I was very pleased. It looks amazing and it is very sturdy. I live in a small studio apartment and use it for my snow globe collection and other trinkets. I would definitely buy again!

After much debate on which bookshelf to purchase I landed on this one. Very pleased with it. Glad I read other reviews about really paying attention to the legs when assembling, other than that it was pretty easy. Once you get the legs together it’s smooth sailing. I put this together by myself in about 45 minutes. Was a little nervous about sturdiness as the legs combine together in a strange way, but as you can see from my photos there’s quite a bit of weight on it and it seems to be fine. Initially bought to use as a plant stand, but thought my records would look good on it too. The shelves were very nice quality. I was happy they didn’t look or feel cheap. I would definitely purchase again.

Absolutely beautiful shelf! Very sturdy and holds all of my plants well, I haven’t tried putting very heavy items on yet. I was in between gray or natural, but happy I went with gray. It’s a bit of grayish brown, I tried to get a good picture of the color with sunlight. Beautiful color! But I’m sure natural would’ve been pretty too. The only annoying part was the assembly instructions were terrible, and the one or two screws for the X crossbar on the back of the shelf were too short. When we put two screws on the top of the X crossbar first, the bottom two weren’t long enough to screw in. So we undid the top two and switched it upside down and it worked, but one or two screws barely fit. We were able to screw it in but not tighten it, as soon as we tried tightening it, it just came out. I would imagine all four screws should work perfectly in each spot but weird, oh well. Luckily the X crossbar isn’t the most important piece so we’re okay with it not being able to tighten completely. Other than those small flaws, very happy with the shelf!

**Edit: loved it so much I bought a 3rd one.This shelf is amazing. I bought it on recommendation from a friend who bought it and said it was amazing. It was so amazing I just bought a second one. Such good value for the money. Solid. Attractive. Relatively easy to assemble if you don’t have 2 thumbs like me.

Increíble producto! Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Materiales de gran calidad, viene con todo lo necesario para armarlo (no te tardas más de dos horas) y creo que es más grande de lo esperado pero luce genial en cualquier lugar donde lo pongas!!! Y lo mejor es que puedes utilizar mejor el espacio en donde lo tengas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente!!! Quedé fascinada :)

Challenging to put together (took me an hour), but it's true to the photo and a very sturdy, attractive shelf. If you're like me and not so great at putting furniture together in the first place, I have some tips. First of all, doing this on the floor was a terrible choice. Work on a table. Way easier. Secondly, the brackets that secure the metal "legs" together should be left partially slack to allow for them to bend a bit for the very bottom shelf. I had a hard time lining it up and had to keep loosening them. Also, make SURE that the longer legs go in front and are positioned correctly before you get started. They're angled slightly, and don't fit flush with the floor. I had a hell of a time unscrewing the bottom two shelves after messing that up.I was very pleased with the end result, and the directions were mostly helpful.

A terrific piece of mid-century modern furniture at an incredibly sharp price. The shipping package came undamaged and all components arrived without any defect. Took me about 45 minuets to put together - this is with laying everything out, carefully following directions, and correcting one minor mistake that i made.Shelves are made of composite/laminate; however, they are sturdy, well made, and don't look cheap. All of the metal components are actually steel which provides a solid feel for the shelving. We're currently using this as a bar in our living room - all in all we've got about 75lbs of bottles/barware on all shelves.I'd highly recommend for someone who's looking to add additional bookshelves, feature piece, etc. to any living space!
