Clover's history dates all the way back to 1925 founded by Mr. Toshio Okada at the age of 26 and quality has always been at the forefront of our company's core.
Our name originated when a young Toshio Okada while attending college would study in the park and use clovers to bookmark his pages. When Mr. Okada founded the company he remembered the hard work and dedication it took to succeed in his studies and all the clovers stuck between the pages of his books that accompanied him through his journey. In 1948 Clover officially became the brand. Clover began as a wholesale company of needles and handicraft accessories. Soon after, Clover became a manufacturing company, with the use of machinery designed to capture the vision of the engineers to create the wonderful tools we know and love today.

Holds well, did gum up on needle, but easily cleaned with an alcohol wipe. Goes fast, will buy again

I use this tape to secure zippers to my hand knits. I am NOT a sewer; I actually hate sewing and have very little experience with it, but this tape makes it less aggravating. It is MUCH easier than basting with pinsand you can adjust and re-adjust your zipper placement over and over until it's perfect. If you use a nice sharp needle the gumming up issue is minimal (but I cannot attest to machine sewing). I would imagine that if I ever used it for machine knitting (hemming pants?) I would just sew above or below the tape but I've got minimal experience with sewing machines so I cannot swear to that.

I actually needed wider tape, which I discovered after I applied to the cushion I had just sewn. However, the fact that it didn't work is entirely my fault. For something like holding up a no-sew hem or seam, this tape is more than adequate.

Did the tape do what it's supposed to? Yes, absolutely. Did it gum up my needles while I was embroidering on top of the fabric I used the tape with? Yes, absolutely. And this is hand-sewing I'm talking about.I ordered two packages of the stuff, because I have a lot of projects lined up, but I sent the unopened package back, since I wouldn't dream of using it with my sewing machine needles now that I know what it does to hand-sewing needles and pins.

Like others have mentioned, this stuff can gum up your needles. With the proper needle selection and sewing speed this problem is manageable.

Works perfectly got Edge toEdge Quilting. Holds the top hoop in lace so the bottom can be attached .
