This is a very nice bit, very sharp, good weight, good bearing. I only needed to cut ⅜" deep and one pass gave nice clean cuts with very little tear out. It cut so well that the router didn't even slow at all, you could hardly tell you were cutting.

I have many router bits from CMT and are a fan. They are just built robustly and with fine quality. This particular bit was a need for a certain project. I intended to change out the bearing for a shallower cut but couldn’t find a option for that. Perhaps this is something CMT could pursue to allow more options of depth cut.
