The colored stickers that are used to create the effect have varying levels of adhesive, and the sides of the pentagons can vary up to half a centimeter. There are also several annoying particles that can be found inside ruining the clarity. The more I look at it the more these issues stand out making this little more than an eyesore on my desk. I can only blame manufacturing irregularities and low quality machining. If you aren't bothered by the slight misshapen tilt at certain angles and aren't worried that the stickers may fall off or ruin the tactile feel then this may be worth the money, but as for the one I received, more than 30$ was wayy too much for what I got.

Still need to get a proper display shelf to put these on, but got three of these through the Vine program and liked them enough to end up getting the rest of the collection on my own. Don't really USE them for anything, they mostly just sit around and look awesome. Made even better by putting them in a window sill on a sunny day and rotating them to see which one makes the neatest patterns on the window sill.

The dodecahedron is beautiful and a good size BUT IT'S NOT CRYSTAL as stated in the description. It is obviously plastic - it's too lightweigh to be crystal. It's disappointing because anything but crystal will scratch and degrade far more quickly over time.
