The holes in the head for mounting the wheels have large burs and the pins will not go though without some filing.

It heats up super quickly probably more than normal. I’ve resorted to using continuous coolant or spraying it down with oil from a fire hose.

The shank is too large at 20 x 18 mm for the mini lathe tool post but the quality and the selection of knurling wheels is good. The 20mm dimension must be reduced to 17mm to fit the turret style tool holder on my mini lathe.

one of the wheels did not turn smoothly. i polished and lubricated it until it turns correctly. also, the edges of the shaft that should be smooth also were rough so i polished those as well. it seems that it was sent to me immediately after being roughly prepared with out finishing. now, i am able to use it.

Everything is pretty tough just loose. The largest knurl pattern walks around way to much on the pins and left a crooked finish. The next size down produced a perfect diamond pattern. Haven’t tried the finer prints cause they are too light for what I’m doing.
