I installed these on a kids MTB with side pull v brakes they are too small for an adult bike unless that person has very small hands.Other than that I am happy with these levers.

Wasted purchase but thankfully salvaged it by using electrical tape to hold the brake cable in place entering the unit.

These really do deserve the one star that they have. After all they are brake levers. On just about every other claim in the listing they miss the mark.The metal is cheap. When you runn the bolt into the threaded hole the metal feels gritty, not smooth like a high quality part. The barrel adjusters have that same problem, but because they too are made from sub standard aluminum they bind and the lock nuts bind on the adjusters as well. I greased the threads which made it better, but it is still there. I suspect that this customer will be bringing this back at some point for new barrel adjusters (or new levers).There is no machining in these levers, much less CNC. The closest it gets is that someone ran a tap into the lever for the binder bolt.The finish is on par with the parts you would find on a bike at a department store. Low quality all around.Will they work as brake levers, maybe. They seem to be okay right now, but I'm glad that they are going on a bike that will see light bike path duty. If this customer was using the bike daily these levers would be headed back.Note:The picture shows Promax levers which are decent. I have seen them in this price point before, so it was not crazy to think that it is what would ship.

These were good for the price.....with modification. The problem was that the slit in the lever body to slide the cable out wasn't fully cut so the quick release of the cable was impossible. I needed the levers asap so I just took a grinder to them to make it work. Besides that hiccup...everything was great!

Its a very primative design, no reach adjust, but it is all metal. The cables seem of meh quality. But good bang for buck.

These break levers are much higher quality than I anticipated. I bought a used Trek and the existing breaks handles were rusted and an eye sore. These were a good price and came with the cable. I had a hard time cutting through the end piece to trim the front break cable, but these were super easy to install and are of pretty good quality. If you're new at installing break handles, this could be the product for you. Just watch a video, buy these and you're on your way!I've been on quite a few rides and they feel great so far. No slipping and they work well with the new V breaks I purchased. I'm happy with my purchase so far. Highly Recommend!

Purchased these brake levers for a rebuild I did for a beach cruiser. Very nice finish on the surface, fully adjustable barrel brake adjusters that made of metal, and the additional cables saved me some money into buying cables. Mounted the brakes and felt excellent. For the price, it's very well worth it and more. Highly recommended for all cantilever and V-brake configurations.
