It seemed to take forever to get the printer to set up. I would set it up through wi.Fi, and then have to do it over and over. I didn't want to print very clearly. The print wasnt very dark, so I changed out the ink cartridges that it came with for some other ones that I had and then I got it printing normal colors.I kept wanting to send me messages that the printer couldn't be found, so I continued to redo the setup. Last I tried it was still working.

Now mind you.. I was trying to replace my MX932, and bought this one by mistake (it was late and I misread the model number). This printer has feed roller issues where it refuses to pull in paper, or pulls in two sheets and jams. It also is a PITA when setting up the wireless LAN because it forces you to try to set up WPS mode first and cancel out of it (even though you don't use it and never will). It has no backlight from the LCD so unless you sit this thing on your desk and have the room brightly lit you'll need to keep a flashlight next to it to even know what's going on with it. And worst of all... The damn thing loves to print partial pages and then quit printing and feed the paper out, because it has a tiny print buffer and your neighbors are blasting the 2.4ghz wifi range (the only range this thing supports) so connectivity is intermittent and the printer freaks out mid print from unstable connection, rather than prebuffering the entire page before printing. I absolutely do not recommend buying this printer unless it's absolutely the only thing you can afford. Poor showing Canon.. poor showing!

This printer replaces one I've had for eight years. It's provided dependable service over that time and has never had a problem until the very end when the paper feeding mechanism malfunctioned.The unit comes with many features to make document management and picture editing a breeze. The price is another big plus. I'm sold.
