I have only used it a day, without a clutch at the moment, but i beat on it and it works pretty well with the exception of sometimes coming out of 3rd while still currently driving in 3rd but i think its a game issue, hopefully it lasts awhile!

Overall is a loud clunky H pattern gear box. You can gate in from 1st to 4th gear with ease, but very easily miss gear the 5th and 6th gear. In Sequential shift mode it only works with down shift. Should have purchase the TH8S instead of this :/

Was instantly recognized by my PC, no additional drivers needed. Works with fanatec wheel.Very simple but very solid construction. Really compact but gives the feeling of a regular size shifter. Shifting into gear has a satisfying feeling. There's not really anything on here that can break, shifter never makes contact with the circuitboard. It uses magnets to sense so anything magnetic close by will interfere with the shifting. It even has this 'adapter' that lets you shift it like a sequential but it's not a very quick changeover. I have to remap the bindings to get it to work on my game but I didn't get it for that. So if you're looking for a sequential/manual you will most likely have to look elsewhere.Compared to the other shifters out there for $100+ this one does everything I want it to. Worth every penny. ( get the 7 speed version, it's only like $2 more )

This gearshifter works well and has magnetic contacts which have a nice feel. The only issue I have is that the metal gearshifter hits the metal gated slots each time you shift. Its so loud that I tried heatshrinking the shaft to lower the clanky noise but the clearance between the shaft and the gated slots is so low that it went through the heatshrinked tubing after just a few shifts. So not sure what type of long term solution I can come up with. My son has a similar shifter we purchased on Amazon as well and it does not have this loud clanking noise when shifting. If anyone has any solutions they could post it would be awesome as I like the shifter otherwise.

Not super responsive, but works well for the price (aka it works). It’s a pretty clunky feeling though and extremely loud, so if your someone with roommates, sweet mates, or live with family then this metal gated shifter isn’t for you. A better bet going with the Logitech alternative. The mounting situation was superb, with all four mounting holes lining up with my mount correctly. Overall good product for someone who is just getting into sim racing wants to shift through gears themselves.

Best feeling and beautiful shifter I have ever own. I liked the top metal plate, it feels great compared to other shifter that has some kind of plastic attached to it.

(Update) I went into the device manager to see when the buttons are pressed and I got the sequential adapter to work properly, I had to secure it about 1/4 inch off the top of the plate and now it reads the inputs as it should. The magnets in the adapter are pretty strong and the problem I was having before was apparently the button (magnetic sensor) was stuck being on or reading as pressed, raising it up about a 1/4 inch moves the magnets on the adapter into the sweet spot where it reads correctly. This is a great 7+r h pattern shifter. I plugged it in and it worked right away. The shifter I got has magnets in the shifter rod that get picked up by 8 position sensors on the boards instead of the micro switches I've seen on other shifters like this. They function perfectly in h patter shift mode but I can't get the sequential adapter to function properly. I'm not sure if it's because the magnets in the adapter are to strong and causing interference, or because they are too far away from the sensors to pick up the signal properly. I was excited for the sequential mode since I've never had one of those shifters before and I'm a little disappointed it doesn't work as shipped. I'm gonna try and get it to work but if I can't it is what it is, it is a budget shifter after all. For the price I am very happy with the shifter itself, I just wish it had been the micro switch version so the sequential adapter would work properly.

After 4 hours of use:- The left side of the top plate is shaving metal from the shaft of the shifter, creating a very sharp and jagged surface. Makes shifting between first and second gear feel terrible. A plastic edge or felt on the top plate would fix this...- The shifter has stopped being centered between 3rd and 4th gear, and instead sits to the right now, meaning pushing the shifter directly forward causes it to hit the barrier between 3rd and 5th instead of going into 3rd- The sequential shifter plastic piece won't stay in the proper position during use, slowly riding up the shaft until your shifter functions as an H-pattern again- The nut holding the plastic piece to the shaft loosened and fell off no matter how much I tightened it, within minutes of use- Sequential shifting doesn't have a click on one side due to being uncentered on the other axis, not that it matters anyway since the sequential plastic mod unseats itself anyway- Its very clunky, does not feel nearly as smooth as any real shifter I've usedYou get what you pay for. Pretty disappointed. Its a pretty low price for a sim shifter, but the quality is far worse than you would expect even with this price. Maybe I got a bad unit, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone I know.
