Everything included works well. The CO2 inflator does leak over time if you leave the cartridge installed.

I use CO2 for anesthetizing honey bees when doing mite checks. This kit was a little confusing with so many parts that seemed unnecessary and no directions, but once I figured it out it works fine.

I actually bought this, not for a bicycle but for my motorcycle. I was taking a very lengthy ride and I didn't want to be caught out deep away from the main roads without air. One of the other guys in the group picked up a nail and I was able to patch and inflate the tire right there on the trail. Now the CO2 cartridges will not bring a motorcycle tire back up to full pressure because they are just not that strong. But it was enough that we weren't worried about the tire popping off the rim as we limped back to civilization in search of a gas station.

I modified mine with a washer to take 12g cartridges. Fills one tire each. Great for having in my pocket while mountain biking.

The co2 cartridge does not get pierced completely even when screwed in all the way. No co2 would come out when turning the valve on the head unit. I decided to try another cartridge. It blew apart in my hand when I screwed the cartridge out. A damaged rubber gasket blew out also. When I looked at the cartridge, I realized it had a small pin hole sized hole in it allowing gas to escape but not large enough to work properly. I tried to return item but it just keeps going to customer support. Time will tell if they actually contact me.Update: contacted by customer service and they sent another upgraded to 3 starsUpdate part 2: I received the replacement and it won't pierce the canister at all. These are not reliable in emergency situations. Don't include in your kit! The customer service was great but the product unfortunately does not work and is not available for a refund.
