A very large spool of thread which will last a long time. I like it because it fits my regular sewing machine and I can wind lots of bobbins with it.

Thread is sturdy and doesn't fray. Can't ask for more than that. Not sure how it washes or if it would shrink. Swatch testing might be a good idea if investing a lot of time in a particular project.
