I used one of these on each end of a antenna coax between a wall-mounted TV, and the coax plate behind the TV. I checked the antenna signal strength with these on the cable and it didn't change with these installed. And now the cable is easier to install and remove from both the TV side and the wall side, and the cable doesn't stick out as far from the wall.

This 90-degree fitting will not work with the higher frequencies utilized by satellite dish receivers. It acted like an open circuit and would not allow the signal to pass into the receiver. This cost me an unnecessary expense for our sattelite provider to troubleshoot this issue.
