I was pleasantly surprised with how these LEDs turned out. But the reason I didn’t give it five stars was because I don’t know how long these will last and the provided power supply was not strong enough to run all 100 feet of the LEDs. I recommend buying a separate transformer rated for 450 or 500 W. The brightness was far better than using the provided power adapter.They do give off a bit of heat. So if you are mounting them in a coffered ceiling I’d recommend attaching them to 45° corner aluminum channel. This will help dissipate the heat and it puts them at the right angle to spread the light evenly.

Spent 2 hours applying lights only for them not to work, they worked fine until they were hung up and controller failed even though the lights still work. Cut strips where it said and was very careful hanging them… but the remote nor the app works!! Emailed customer service twice and no response. Wasted my time and maybe a fire hazard controller gets very hot!!! Buy elsewhere!!!

This product comes with a remote to control the lights as well as an app.Overall it was easy to install, good amount of LEDs per meter and has a very sticky adhesive! And the best part is, you can't see the LEDs behind the diffuser much at all!

On the stairs, we used the adhesive to line the area with light all the time regardless of who flips the switch for the overhead light upstairs. In the new office area in the basement, we hung the other half of the lights with hooks around the entire area and it’s surprisingly bright. Over all, they’ve been a GREAT purchase. I also like that they’re dimmable. We use that feature, too.
