Fit and finish is perfect! Took about 10 minutes to install…. Upper Mounting points are far better/stronger than the Silverado OEM highway bar. Zero complaints!!!!!!! VERY happy now!!!

Mounting brackets lined up perfectly. It appears the frame was placed in the welding jig upside down because the bars hit the stock floor boards. The slight offset in the bars appears to be bent in the wrong direction. The vender was no help.

First, let me say thank you! this bar saved my bike and probably my life. Just 3 days after I purchased this item I got into an accident at about 40-50 MPH. I only suffered some minor scratch and bruises BUT not a scratch on the ~700 lbs. bike. After the crash, I ordered another one immediately and the Highway bar was here faster than expected both times. It fits perfectly on my Yamaha V Star 1100 both times and looked great. THANK YOU!

Item arrived well packaged and several days ahead of the promised date. They bolted on to my 2007 VStar 1100 in about 30 minutes with no issues. Although it didn't appear to be necessary I went ahead and put the spacer behind the rear brake master cylinder. The peace of mind was worth the extra few minutes of work. They look great and I hope they never touch the road. Some people are saying to go ahead and get the foot pegs but my legs are so short I couldn't reach them anyway. A superior product at a really good price. Stop thinking about it and push the 'buy' button.

Bars mounted right up to the bike with minimum effort and included all the hardware needed.Took me all of 15 minutes to install and be on the road. well designed and heavy duty.My girlfriend ended up making use of them the first day out on some soft ground that she laid the bike down. Everything was protected and we picked the bike up and off we went to continue the ride.

I just got these bars today and decided to go ahead with installing them even though it was late and dark. The install was very easy and the total outcome more than pleasing. These bars really add a nice look to the bike while protecting the rider in case of a fall or any such accident. They are not made of flimsy steal and really gives the rider an added bit of protection while giving the bike a nice flare! I would highly recommend this product! Thanks Cobra!

My husband was recently t-boned while riding his motorcycle. These "highway" bars saved his life!! The highway bars prevented his leg from being pinned under the bike and being dragged down the road with it. He was thrown clear of the bike and although injured, we both swear that installing this highway bar was the best investment we ever made! We will make sure that the next bike has one as well. This item is worth the money and the hour it takes to install it, very easy to attach!! Also makes riding long distances much more comfortable by being able to rest your legs on the bar instead of the pedals. Be sure to purchase the pegs for this highway bar, it doesn't come with them.
