A bit quieter than the "straight through flow" baffles that came with my cobras, but still louder than stock exhaust. Tone is lower and smoother and a lot easier to talk over or listen to radio.

Had to take exhaust off to get old baffles out. Fit was easy and sound is perfect now. Not too loud, takes out the sharp rasp.

You need to know that this baffle will sound as loud at idle. The big difference is when the bike is operating a higher rpm. It smooths out and sounds really good. I recommend them.

I bought a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan with low miles for a great price. It had aftermarket Cobra Speedster shorts with the standard baffles. It has a nice throaty sound at low speeds but at 70 MPH my bike is revving almost 4000 RPM and the noise would cause a loud droning noise. I was actually looking for the factory exhaust when a friend suggested swapping out the stock baffles with the Quiet Core baffles. So I changed out the baffles to these quiet cores and it made a world of difference. Still has a nice throaty idle and slow speed sound, but at higher speeds for sustained duration, it's bearable, if not pleasant. Still loud enough to be heard by other motorists without causing me permanent hearing loss. Also with the increased back pressure, the bike feels like it has more low end torque. Excellent product.

These are NOT 1 3/4" baffles. They are 2" at the mounting flange.If you are looking for baffles to fit an 1 3/4" exhaust pipe, this product won't work for you.Had there been a photo with the flange dimensions/baffle dimensions listed, it would have been much clearer.However, if you have 2" pipes, I can tell you from looking these are very sturdy looking and should work well.
