Good design with the time proven stainless food tray for the base. It's quite roomy to hold a good week of grinds for our household . All parts are attached so you don't lose anything if it gets moved around. Works for me!

最初は不安で強く叩け無かったのですが、バシバシ叩いても壊れません(笑)ステンレスなので、汚れが付きにくく洗えばピッカピカで気にいってます。

The rubber part smells strong out of the box. The smell went away after washing it and leaving it out overnight.**update**I am happy to say that the rubber smell has gone away and the knock box working wonderfully! Plus, it’s really easy to clean!

Its sleek, sturdy and easy to clean. The rubber bar is a bit low quality, but I didn't notice an overpowering smell like other reviews mentioned. I just needed something cheap, my last one was plastic and broke pretty quickly. This one should hold up a bit longer, except maybe for the bar.

I didn’t need any of the fancy wooden boxes or curvy statement pieces. I just wanted something that was easier and cleaner than pounding my puck out on a paper towel on the counter. Instead of hoping I don’t get grounds everywhere, they go into this knockbox everytime now, and then I can later use them in my compost. I usually only use my espresso machine for my morning brew, once a day, and by the next morning, the previous day’s grounds have dried out which is nice because wet old coffee grounds can stink the place up with a sour smell. This was the cheapest knock box I could find, but it does exactly what I want it to do. Only drawback is that the rubber part kinda smells, well, rubbery, but it’ll probably go away once I wash the thing… I don’t really see the need to wash it often though so it’s mostly my fault haha.
