These tables have lightweight black metal frames. The tops have a darker wood grain color. They stack atop one another for storage.

Priced for what it is, they're a decent set of end table/coffee tables. They are somewhat lightweight and Id even say could be flimsy due to it, but if you have objects on it helps.. just abit easy to slide in my opinion, but they do hide into eachother to make space if necessary which is nice. Maybe best for dorm or small apartment

I ordered this set of 2 coffee tables in the black and rustic brown. They arrived very well packed and cushioned. The table tops both had plastic corner protectors on them when they arrived. I did have a little trouble assembling them and would suggest putting one table together first and then the second table. Instructions have you putting them both together simultaneously. The other thing I would suggest is attaching the bottom crossbar to the sides first. Make sure the sides’ feet are on the bottom before attaching this crossbar. You may have to flip one of the sides around to make this work. After this then attach the upper crossbars and then the top. Instructions also recommend having two people assemble and do estimate the assembly time at around 30 minutes. I assembled this by myself in about that amount of time. And that was making the mistake of not having the sides’ feet facing the floor.Once assembled these tables are nice and fairly sturdy. I like that they nest together if you only need one out. The design is simple. Price is pretty good.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item. May have a minor flaw that does not detract from appearance or function.Four stars-Great item. Flaw or problem more noticeable. Or, price may be high for what it is.Three stars-Good item. So you have to put these together yourself and if you don't assemble them properly you will have problems. They're not the most solid tables, they can be a little flimsy and wobbly so make sure you snug everything real good. A simple design, a basic table, they are functional but not the Best quality I've seen. A reasonable value for the money, just make sure you follow the directions for assembly. They're not hard to assemble just make sure you're doing it right.
