These coil saver inserts fit perfectly on my Minelab Equinox 900 metal detector. They will help me to get more life out of my unit by reducing wear.

These fit equinox 800 fine. However the stock existing gaskets were thicker so had to use 2 of new ones on each side of coil to make it work. One new gasket by itself sits to deep in the slot so it won't be able to make contact with the coil mount which will make it plastic to plastic. Not a good thing.

In theory these are great and overcome a major problem with the Minelab Equinox stock coil/shaft. The downfall of this product is that the material is very flexible and catches on the coil when inserting the shaft between the coil ears. They are then pulled partially out of their cavity, distort, bend up, and cover the hole for the bolt. This can be overcome, but not without plenty of frustration and swearing. So, all in all, they function as advertised, but installation is not trivial.
