Took 18 days to deliver, but it was worth the weight! Fit my father’s 18 inch machete well except for handle retaining strap, where I added a more lateral snap and now fulfills my every need.

I bought this for a custom made Machete that a buddy forged for me. Took a chance,, and it fit !!! It's a good quality sheath for the $$$$.

Great for the price, it was a little too long for the blade I have but its cool,just need to buy another blade

I actually use this item for my 18 inch Tramontina Latin Machete. I do not have the 18 inch Cold Steel Machete that this is made for. However, my Tramontina fits in this sheath quite nicely. All in all it is a good quality sheath and does the job I need it to do. With that said, I would need put the sheath on my belt. When I do carry it, the sheath and machete are strapped/tied to my pack. For that application I am sure it will hold up just fine. I also have a Mora All Around clipped to the opening of the sheath, which actually gives the machete a little extra retention and does not interfere with my ability to draw and sheath the machete.

My old military sheath was shot, Ive owned my machete for 25 years and wanted to use it around the farm so this sheath was just the ticket. Its built well and Im very happy with it. I want to thank who ever made them while they remained affordable, I hope their living well.
