If you want to be warm DO NOT buy this. What a huge disappointment. Advertising on this was one big lie, not as warm as a sweater would be. Hate it

Great jacket - warm, nice fit, sleeves are long with cuffs to block out the cold. Columbia always makes excellent active wear and I am a big fan!

Columbia is a brand that I'm familiar and nearly always satisfied with. This jacket was no different.I'm fairly petite and short and the XS fits me perfectly. The fit isn't too big or small, the sleeves aren't too tight or long. Some winter jackets are bulky and make my shoulders look weird, but this one is fine. It's lightweight and pretty flattering for a winter coat. Might not be the warmest in harsh winter weather, but is definitely more comfortable for day-to-day wear.The outer material is waterproof. While I personally prefer a softer material (like fleece) for the inner-material, this jacket is lined with a reflective material that is better for warmth.Very nice.
