They seemed good but too small. I wear a large pant usually and with leggings on there was barely any room to bend. I would have purchase anXL but the price difference was too much.

I recommend getting a size or two bigger than normal because even though the legs fit well, the waist is very form-fitting and does not have any stretch.

I am giving 4 stars because I have not gotten to test these in a downpour yet (I'm guessing they will do their job), but I do have some thoughts to share. I saw a lot of comments about lack of pockets. Pockets would be nice, but I figure I'm always going to be wearing these with a raincoat that has good pockets, so pants pockets are not that important to me. I read a lot of reviews because I was trying to figure out what size to get. I am 5'2", about 110 pounds, and I wanted to wear these over my jeans. I ordered small/short. I may have been able to get away with XS/short, but I'm going to stick with these. My last rain pants, a different brand, lasted many years before the waterproof lining started crumbling off. I think these, with their mesh lining, will also last a good long time.

were an amazing price when i got them, i'm a 2x and were snug but about the only ones i found that were just snug on stomach area and not thighs

I'm heavier and had a hard time finding comfortable rain pants. These are lightweight weight enough that I keep them in my bag, to throw over my clothes in the case of a summer storm. I also use them as a wind and water barrier in-between my thermals and snowpants for the winter.

These pants are really nice waterproof for when you're out on an adventure and it's raining. I use these if I am out fishing in heavy rain. They work really nice because they help break up the wind as well as make it so you don't get soaked from the rain. They are a noisy parachute type material but they are very well made for being the type of pants that they are! These are much nicer than other brands of the same type. I have a Columbia jacket in a different color I bought years ago that does the same thing. Very happy to know her pants. Go up a size if you are worried about how they will fit because they do cinch down. These are not fashion pants but they are amazing to keep you dry. Columbia is an excellent brand for high quality outdoor gear so you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend these weatherproof pants.
