Introducing our soft, lightweight and flexible Comfort Gel Bit Guards that protect your horse’s sensitive mouth by preventing the bit pinching, rubbing and chafing. These will also stop the bit sliding through your horse's mouth when turning, maximising your horse’s comfort and responsiveness.

Commonly used in multiple equestrian pursuits including schooling, leisure riding, trail riding, driving, eventing, cross-country, mounted games, show jumping, pony club activities, gymkhanas and riding competitions. Depending on the bit type, may also be suitable for polo.
They come in one size, 8cm, and are suitable for use with pony, cob and full size horse bits.
The bit guards are lightweight, each gel piece weighing just 32g. Safe and comfortable for everyday use. Easily cleaned with mild soap and water. They are sold in pairs and are available in black, or brown to match your bridle.
These are very easy to put on and take off. They will easily stretch over bit rings. They do not need to be heated, making them much more convenient compared to standard flat rubber rings.
