I am not saying this one, but I have received some that are defective. The one I just got from Amazon, is not defective. I tested it when it arrived, In the last 3 weeks I have had 3 defective ones, none that come from Amazon.Just want you to know there are bad ones out there.Thanks

Replaced a 20+ year old unit. Easy to change, put in a couple of months ago so who knows how long it will last. Budget friendly.

I guess how long these things last is dependent on how often they are used to open the garage doors,but the installer used this very model when he installed my shop doors (1 in each end) in my Quonset Hut building 10+ years ago.One came apart due to me not having it firmly attached to a wall and it swinging around and bouncing off the car hoist or a parts shelf.So I bought two replacments to insure I had one to use right away,and a spare in case another one fails while one of the 14x14 foot doors is open. Cheap insurance.Yeah,I do recommend them. At this price they can't be beat.

We needed a new 3 button garage door opener for our business, one of the buttons stopped working. It was easy to install, just transferred the wires from one switch to the other and no issues.
