First order was very damaged in shipping. Seller allowed return and I was promptly refunded. I chose to reorder and the second shipment arrived perfectly. Works very nice in my Star Wars HP. My OEM screen from HP broke and needed a quick and inexpensive replacement, this is what I recieved. Quality wise its going to be worse than OEM, so if that matters buy direct from HP. (Part number: 819999-001)After installing the new screen I noticed the difference in quality immediately. This screen is way more washed out than the OEM one, has a dead spot and from image quality and consistency changes dramatically based on the angle you view the screen. However if you are a broke college student like me and need something quick to do your school work with then this screen will get you by.

A single dead pixel, not a big deal. My mom would never notice thatAnyone can install a new display onto their laptop. This was a lot easier than I expected and I didn't even have to look up instructions.The screen worked right away without issue. Color and clarity looks fine, I can't complain, especially for the cost. The screen came with a protective film on it and was well packaged.

I have been in love with my Star Wars special edition HP ever since I purchased It back in 2015. I accidentally broke the screen while travelling. I purchased this screen replacement a and boy did they deliver! The package arrived in perfect conditions. The screen was pretty well protected, no scratches. I watched a 5 min tutorial on YouTube that allowed me to replace the old screen for the new one in 10 mins. Highly recommended!

My daughter accidentally broke my Starwars Edition laptop a few months ago. I did not feel like paying someone to do this so I took to Amazon and boy did they deliver.The packaging was perfect and had Fragile written all over it. It came with stickers of places saying do not touch.Upon watching a 5 minute youtube video I had this locked down.I used a #5 jewelers screwdriver for the entire process. I removed 2 screws holding the bezel in place and then removed 4 screws holding the screen in place.I then replaced the screen and turned it on.This screen seems brighter than my other one and there was 1 dead cell in the screen but unless it is in startup mode I don't even notice it.This screen is definitely worth ordering and saving the money and doing it yourself.I gave this 5 stars for the packaging, quality, and the ease of install.

I was first kind of dubious about the claimed resolution (1920x1080) since most of the displays in Amazon were 768p but it's true, it is 1080p and it has great color reproduction, workable viewing angles and arrived without a single scratch or dent. It is a matte screen even though it doesn't appear like it when unboxed due to the protective film on it. I would definetly buy it again, but hopefully I won't be breaking it soon.

This screen was easy to install but the only issue I’ve noticed is the whiteness of the screen. It seems washed out.

There were a few reviewers that were less than impressed, but I needed this for my son's computer and I needed it quickly. I took a chance on this screen and it fits perfectly, arrived in new condition, and came quickly. Using an online video for help, I had it installed in 10 minutes- and I have no electronics experience to speak of. Quick fix, worth the money, and great seller.I would recommend this item and this seller.

Great screen although it had a minor imperfection in the pixles on the bottom of the screen. But all in all great product for the price.
