This High pressure Power Steering hose is a direct plug and play replacement for the original / factory hose.Couple of things to note here re what some have said about a pressure switch leak or / and a missing rubber insulator at the hard line to rack end.The pressure switch screws into the hard line fitting. Note that there is an O ring on the male switch threads. If it appears to be intact, leave it alone....unless you do have a new O ring replacement ....not included with any of the hoses offered for sale. Use some Teflon Tape on the threads....3 or 4 wraps...no leaks..... Many auto shops that I have been into recommend and do the tape procedure. The 'missing' rubber insulator bushing......simply remove said insulator from the existing hose. Box cutter makes it easy to slit on the flat surface. The metal clamps...2 of em.......easy to open them up to remove and change over to new hose. Make sure to install em so the locating tang...sometimes not noticed....face toward the flexible portion of the hose.A 10MM socket with an extension and ratchet takes care of the 4 bolts. A 14MM open end or flare wrench takes care of the hard pipe at the rack.A job easily completed in an hour.....including a power steering fluid drain / 'flush' prior to removing the high pressure hose. I used about a quart of Honda / Acura fluid to get the job done......lots of on line info regarding that simple and recommended procedure.

It's been a couple of weeks since I installed it and haven't had any issues. Fit in perfectly just like the original.
