1. Silicon quoting is not thick enough to hold after cooking. Gets over heated.2. End of the handle is a bit sharp and can hurt the hand if not careful.3. Cleaning is not easy.

I had the 1 Qt Farberware in aluminum/teflon which I thought was a perfect design for a small pot but after about two years of constant use, the coating wore through and the exterior got pretty beat up. I decided to try stainless to see if I could get by without the non-stick coating. So far it has worked fine. The fact that you can get away with using something like Scotchbrite helps. The strainer flange keeps the lid from sliding off and it is great for draining pasta and such without dragging out a colander. I could wish for a deeper spout. It pours a little slowly which might be a problem with the larger pans. The handle is nice to use but a little heavy on the 1 qt pan making it tippy if there is not much in it. I can see how the design might not work as well in the larger sizes.

We really like this pan it is quality, lightweight and the drainer on the lid is excellent. Would purchase this pan again. I like the red handle and matching lid. Also it works on an induction stove! You wouldn't be sorry this pan is a nice size and easy to handle.

I bought this to replace an older pot of the same size. So much cuter than expected, in person. Really like the lid with the filtered pour spout. Heats very evenly, cleans up easily. Can't ask for much more

The design, craftsmanship and look are all good, except 1) the metal sheet used to make the 3l pot is too thin (1 mm) not strong enough. When it is filled full of water (3 liters) the connection between the handle and the pot wall (riveted, not welded) wiggles slightly due to the weight! One can imagine that with repeated uses over time that is a weak spot to break down. The manufacturer appeared to use the same metal sheet to make pots of all volumes. It is ok for 1l or 2l pots, but not for a 3l pot which holds 3 kg or more when solids are included! 2) The 2 meshed vents at each side are counter-ergonomic, i.e. perpendicular to the handle axis. It takes a huge amount of hand strength to hold the full pot (>3 kg) to dispense fluid through the vent. It would be ergonomic if A) a single vent is at the point opposite to the handle axis for both right- and left-handed, or B) 2 vents each ~2 inches to either side away from the point directly facing the handle axis (i.e. if the handle is at 12 O'clock, put the 2 vents at 5 and 7 O'clock, respectively).

This pan is quite heavy and hard for me to lift when full. It cooks well enough, but after boiling some eggs in it there were water deposits left in the bottom that will need extra work to remove. I have only used it once so far, but overall I think it will be good, since I mostly will be using it for cooking soups. The handle does get hot, even on the part with the silicone. I had to use a pot holder to handle it.
