Why does this not come with some kind of a plastic case to keep it stored in? I got a cardboard box.

Had to put furring strips up on a block house. Works great - would recommend this to anyone and glad I got it!

For anyone that was fixed on driving concrete nails by hand, this is a game changer. The process was quite laborious, select and hold the furring strip in place then with your third hand hammer the cut or fluted nails in place. What? Humans don’t have three hands? Oh yes, you are correct, and that was the problem. This gun was basically hold with one hand and shoot with the other, that simple. It was a breeze nailing those furring strips to the concrete walls. The only question I have in the back of my mind. How much will those tiny ss “t” shaped spikes hold up ? Other than that, if you have anything to do with furring strips, this is definitely a must have.
