This ladder is very well made and stylish. All guests compliment on it. The reason for four stars is the hardware that comes with this ladder is garbage you’ll have to go to the hardware store to get quality screws . so I purchased quarter Inch bolt head screws stainless steel.

I bought this for my Intex 16 x 48" pool as the original ladder is a bit rickety for the athletically challenged and risk averse! Once assembled, I filled it with water (both inside and outside frame) and used packing straps to fasten it to the pool frame - rather than drilling holes and using the included bolts as suggested by the manufacturer. I wasn't sure whether the price for this ladder was justified when I ordered it (almost half the price of the pool!), but it really is sturdy. I'm 220lbs and now my wife feels safe getting in and out of the pool! Worth every cent! Love the product and recommend buying from this company!

this ladder is wonderful, I am a big guy and it takes the weight great. the set up is easy even with a 5 and 6 year old helping me.the locking system is easy and secure. and attaching it to my pool was simple.just make sure you have someone in the pool when putting it in the water, hard to get it to sink and add water from the outside.great product for the money!!!!

I have an Intex 18x9' with a terrible ladder. This ladder was easy to put together, only one place didn't go together well (the top onto the stairs). The only thing I needed help with was placing it in the pool. All parts were included. This ladder is not screwed into the intex which makes it a little wobbly. I plan to put stakes into the ground and bungee to the cross members. It won't look great but I know it will hold. The steps and handles did get soft in +90 temps but this ladder is much better than the intex.I thought the mat was missing but it showed up 2 days later. It is smaller than I thought it should be, but it is functional. I easily put it under the ladder, hopefully it will stay there.Update: I used 2 ratchet straps attached to ground stakes (1 for each side). Worked very well. Ladder didn't wobble at all. Kids were jumping off it all the time. The mat keeps sliding out, thinking of tyeing it somehow this year. Would buy again, worth the money when you have a 250 lb person getting in and out.

I bought this at my wife’s behest. I was not impressed with the all plastic construction and snapped together pieces. Legos seem to stick together better. The plastic is injection molded and goes together like a little tykes playset. The ladder gains some stability by filling the interior with water. Then drilling holes in the liner and frame of your pool to attach the ladder to it using blow molded plastic boards. I haven’t done it yet because I’m hesitant to drill holes in my frame and liner to make this work. I’m also wondering how to get all the water out of the ladder to the end of the season to store it as there are no drain holes built in.

If you are hesitating about ordering this heavy duty pool ladder...don't. It is a breeze to put together. My husband and our 8 year old granddaughter snapped everything into place within an hour. We decided to not anchor the ladder to our above ground Intex pool. Although it is not needed, for our own peace of mind, we are working on another way to anchor the ladder to the pool without drilling holes in our metal railing. Our granddaughters have been jumping off the platform into the pool and it has not been an issue. Great purchase.

I love this ladder, it’s a million times sturdier than the wobbly junk that came with our pool. The mat came separately, the day after I received the ladder so I have not installed it yet, however it seems nice also. This thing was definitely worth the money, it was a little tough to get together and it took a bit to fill the legs with water, but it was worth the time, though I will probably be removing the roll down cover thing as I don’t have a real need for it (kids, etc.) and it seems to just attract leaves/bugs inside the pool, and wasps/bees outside the pool.

Absolutely recommend this ladder! My husband had no problem assembling it like a few others mentioned they had. It's well constructed, materials are nice and heavy and a great design. We filled with water and again no issue what so ever with it not staying submerged in the pool as a few reviewers had also mentioned.It's nice and wide and love the solid platform on the top to turn around on. Sure gives me more confidence with how sturdy it is. The mat is the perfect size.If you're in the market for a new ladder, this is an excellent choice, you'll be glad you chose it!
