Although the basics of the female plug appear the same the distance between the pins is greater on this than my male plug so It did not work.

The Conntek P515L530 power cord is a high-quality and reliable cord that I've been using to connect a UPS to a home outlet. It's 15 feet long and features a NEMA 5-15P plug on one end and a NEMA L5-30R connector on the other. It has performed flawlessly, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a durable power cord.Keep in mind that you do not overload the circuit you plug it into or the cord itself with too many devices or exceed its maximum amperage rating. Your average home circuit is 15 or 20 amps. This cable is rated for 30 amps. I had an electrician come install a dedicated circuit for my UPS to ensure I don't overload it.You'll "probably" be fine if you are mindful of the number of devices you have on a single circuit, but get a licensed electrician to install a proper outlet for your needs.As for my needs, I have a high-end workstation computer and a high resolution monitor used for image and photography for color accuracy connected to the UPS. My workstation is able to notice the UPS and powered off once correctly already with this cable.Good cable!

Its a beast of a cable, solid and looks to be made to withstand a beating. I used this with my CyberPower PR3000LCD battery backup for my computers and servers.

Title says it all. This could've been a little cheaper for just being some heavy gauge wire and plastic, but it does the job.

We have 20 amp circuits and needs this to plug in a 30 amp battery backup for a IT closet. It works perfectly, but you must not load the battery over 20 amps if you are in the same boat, think total startup load and not just running.

Works great! We use this in conjunction with a Conntek 50' Extension Cord to power our box truck refrigerator without having to run the engine. Used it 15-20 times already with no problems. Both cords are very rugged and seem as though they will stand the test of time.
