Continental is great brand. Make sure to inspect it. Mine came with a gash in it. Amazon of course will send a replacement.Update, replacement belt also cracked. This is probably why peoples belts are shredding.

The product is very good, but it is too tight for the GLK350. Installation is a bit difficult.

I had to replace my alternator on my 2011 c300 so I replaced the belt, tensioner, and pulleys. A few days after it was installed the belt started to squeak which drove me mad hearing it. I removed the belt and the smooth surfaced idler pulley to find that the steal wiring in the belt was touching the pulley wall. Basically, that belt was not straight and had a point where it was wider causing the belt to snug up against the pulley causing noise. I ordered this as a replacement and it is slightly smaller in width than the previous belt. Pay the extra few dollars to get this belt over the standard continental belt.
